Joey Ross Born in (1932) started playing Country music in the early 1940's over the next 40 years he played any and every honky tonk joint that would have him. In 1988 due to health problems he put down the guitar for the first time in his life. In 2006 I handed him his restored 1951 Gibson southern jumbo, after two weeks of pickin we ended up with one hour of recording time before his bus left to take him back to Tennessee. Joey went to business pickin and singing 10 tunes that he hadn't played in years. I recorded these songs one take with no edits in the spirit of Joe's influences. This is raw American roots music,  I realize it's not for everyone But I know very few musicians who would be willing to record such a raw heartfelt performance with the confidence of  Joe Ross. So give a listen with an open mind .

All over again Today I started loving you again
Don't be angry I thought I heard her call my name
your cheatin heart Heartaches by the number
Kentucky means paradise Honky tonk angels
please release me Don't you ever get tired of hurting me
